Elizabeth (Beth) Grimes, C.P.A., PartnerBeth has over 16 years experience with a heavy concentration in the government audit area and non-profit organizations. She graduated from North Georgia College in 1993 with a degree in accounting. Beth has taught courses for the Georgia Government Finance Officers' Association and the Georgia Society of CPAs in the area of audit. She taught the course 'Monitoring Internal Controls to Prevent/Mininimize Fraud' at the Georgia Government Finance Officers' Association annual conference. Beth has provided instruction and training for Bates, Carter & Co., LLP and its clients on various topics; most notably GASB 34. Committed to continuous learning and customer-focused initiatives, she developed an online reference guide to assist counties and cities with the implementation of GASB 34, an area in which she has in-depth knowledge.
