As managing partner of Bates, Carter and Company from 1995-2009, John has committed his professional expertise and experience to helping clients achieve financial strength. In doing so, he plays a vital role to ensure Bates, Carter continues its leadership role as a premier business consulting and accounting firm.

John grew up in Commerce, Georgia.  Married in 1974, John and Linda's family includes two adult children, Kasey and Morgan.
