Pittman Construction Company was founded by Frank Pittman in 1884 and has been committed to helping Atlanta grow for four Pittman generations. From paving the first concrete street to surfacing the superhighways of the 21st Century in metro Atlanta and Georgia. Louie Pittman and his father began the company relationship with Bates, Carter & Co. in 1963. This relationship has continued for over 46 years. Our company has gone through many changes and has had to adapt our organization with regards to size, type of work, bidding methods and of course accounting regulations. Bates, Carter & Co., LLP has been a vital team member and a trusted partner over these many years of good and challenging times. We learned long ago that it is not only how much you know that matters; it is also how much you care. Bates, Carter & Co. keeps us in compliance, but it is that extra effort that comes from their employees that makes our relationship more than just audits and tax returns. Advice is cheap, but trusted advice is priceless.

Jim Mann
Vice President
Pittman Construction, Inc.
