Rachael Cotton - Tax Senior

Rachael joined BatesCarter in 2025, bringing a strong academic background and valuable professional experience. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Georgia in 2019. Following her undergraduate studies, Rachael worked at a local firm, where she specialized in individual and small business tax services, financial statement preparation, and payroll management. She went on to earn her Master’s in Accounting from the University of North Georgia in 2025 and became a valued member of the BatesCarter team shortly thereafter.

Hobbies

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing strategic board games, singing karaoke, and hiking to waterfalls throughout Georgia and the surrounding areas.
